"The Performance of Modernity: Atatürk Kültür Merkezi, 1946-1977" September 21, 2012-January 6, 2013, SALT Galata, Open Archive 1969: İstanbul Cultural Palace (AKM today) opened under the management of Aydın Gün. The president of the day Cevdet Sunay and the prime minister Süleyman Demirel also joined the opening ceramony, which was broadcasted live on TRT İstanbul Radio.

1969: İstanbul Kültür Sarayı (bugünkü AKM) Aydın Gün yönetiminde açıldı. TRT İstanbul İl Radyosu’nda canlı yayımlanan açılış programına, zamanın cumhurbaşkanı Cevdet Sunay ve başbakanı Süleyman Demirel de katıldı.
